How to Style Rattan Earrings

Posted by Stacey Thomas on

Rattan is one of my FAVORITE new materials! Since this is one of the newest trends to hit the statement earring scene, I wanted to walk you through how I would style four of my favorite rattan designs.

1.) The Selena Earring

Of all the rattan earrings that I'm featuring, I think these are the most versatile. I actually made myself a pair of these when I added them to the shop, and I swear they matched almost everything in my closet.

Ultimately, I'd love to style them with this ditsy floral olive romper from Target, and these wedges would complement both the rattan as well as the bright white tassels. Not to mention, the lace-up detail on the espadrilles add the perfect touch of femininity!

2.) Rattan Heart Dangle Earrings

When I saw these rattan heart pendants at my bead supply store, I just knew I HAD to have them to create some earrings with! They are just the absolute cutest and girliest version of the rattan trend!

Keeping with the cute and girly mood, I think these heart earrings would be so perfect for a date night. My take on how to style these would be with this pink polka dot jumpsuit paired with these bold wood and leather platform heels

I love how the polka dots complement the sweet side of these earrings, while the platform shoes add the necessary edginess to balance it all out.

3.) Extra Long Rattan Statement Earrings

What I LOVE about these earrings is they make the statement all on their own. They are extra long, will definitely brush your shoulders, and you will be getting compliments on them all day long. So for this outfit, we want to keep it simple and complementary!

I chose this rust colored jumpsuit from Free People because it has just the right amount of details without being overwhelming. For the shoes, these raffia lace up heels are just outstanding! They will complement all the details of the earrings while elevating the look of the jumpsuit.

4.) The Chelsea Earring

I think these mini rattan chandelier earrings with the wood bead dangles are the most boho of the bunch, so naturally I felt they were screaming to be paired with a flowy maxi dress. When it comes to boho maxis, nobody does it better than Altar'd State, so I chose this dusty pink one with a little bit of crochet trim.

I don't know about you, but when I put on a maxi dress it's because I want to look put together but at the same time be ultra comfortable. Hence, I chose to pair this dress with flat sandals. These sleek woven fringe sandals by Sam Edelman are the perfect touch!
